My name is Juhi Naik and I am excited to serve as a chapter lead for the LabOps community! I have a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have experience working in regulated environments such as an ISO-accredited food safety laboratory and a CLIA & CAP-accredited genomic profiling laboratory. After these roles, I moved into laboratory operations management. Through a partnership between LabCentral, a Kendall Square nonprofit which supports life science startups, and Harvard Business School, I spent nearly 4 years managing a 15,000 sq ft co-working lab called the Pagliuca Harvard Life Lab. I moved back to my hometown at the end of 2020 and have managed lab operations at Evozyne, a Chicago synthetic biology startup, ever since! I am looking forward to building a network of laboratory operations professionals in the Chicagoland area!
